About The Role

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Accountant

to lead and oversee all accounting operations, tax compliance, reporting, and closing processes.

This role requires a strong command of accounting practices, financial reporting, taxation, ERP systems, and team management.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, financial accuracy, and timely reporting while supporting management with valuable financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations in full compliance with applicable legislation and internal procedures.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely recording of all income, expenses, and accounting transactions.
  • Lead month-end and period-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Review accounting records, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely corrective actions.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of tax declarations, including VAT and Corporate Tax, in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Monitor tax and regulatory developments and ensure proper adaptation of internal processes.
  • Ensure the timely execution of payroll, EOS, and other statutory payments.
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports, providing analysis and insights to senior leadership.
  • Support external audits by coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors.
  • Ensure the effective use of ERP and accounting systems, including e-invoicing and digital reporting processes.
  • Monitor cash flow, daily bank reporting, supplier payments, and asset-related accounting processes, including depreciation and valuation.
  • Follow up on ICV certification processes and ensure compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and ethical principles.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in

Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting

  • Minimum
  • 15 years of relevant experience
  • in accounting and finance
  • Strong knowledge of
  • tax regulations, financial reporting, period-end closing, and audit processes
  • Proficiency in

Ms Office

  • and
  • Windows applications
  • Hands-on experience with
  • accounting and payroll systems
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and leadership skills
  • Fluency in
