Tendering and Proposals Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare bid documents in line with client requirements and submission deadlines
• Develop accurate cost estimations including material, labor, equipment and related project costs
• Support technical evaluations in coordination with engineering teams
• Prepare and compile tender submission documents in compliance with client specifications and company standards
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect required technical, commercial and operational inputs
• Present and communicate the selected bid concept to internal stakeholders
• Engage with clients during the tendering process to clarify requirements and address questions
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to support pricing strategies
• Evaluate bid results and contribute to continuous improvement of future proposals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Heavy Lift & Transport industry
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a proposal, tendering or estimation role
• Strong knowledge of Heavy Lift & Transport operations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Additional languages, especially Arabic, are an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Strong analytical, numerical and planning skills
• Experience in preparing project schedules
• Detail-oriented, accurate and compliance-focused working style
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to travel when required for tendering activities and client meetings
