Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Doha, Qatar.
The Senior Accountant will oversee accounting operations, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities
include managing budgets, performing reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support decision-making.
The role also involves coordinating with internal and external auditors, optimizing financial processes, and mentoring junior members of the accounting team.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting methodologies.
- Experience with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Attention to detail and demonstrated skills in preparing accurate financial statements.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to meet deadlines, multitask effectively, and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
- Experience in the financial and/or corporate sector and familiarity with Qatar financial regulations is a strong advantage.
