Senior Accountant / CPA (ZATCA & Saudi Compliance Specialist)
📍 Jeddah / Makkah, Saudi Arabia (Remote – As Needed Basis)
Immediate requirement – candidate must be able to independently file ZATCA returns, handle tax compliance, and prepare financial statements without supervision
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Accountant / CPA
to support our company on a
part-time / as-needed basis
with a strong focus on
Saudi tax compliance, ZATCA filings, and financial structuring
.
This role is ideal for a professional who can
step in immediately
, resolve critical compliance matters, and support ongoing financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and submit
- Zakat, VAT, and tax filings
- with Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA)
- Review and correct existing filings (including
- zero-income returns
- )
- Prepare and submit
- financial statements
- as required
- Ensure compliance with
- e-invoicing (FATOORA)
- regulations
- Support
- payroll and WPS financial alignment
- (Mudad coordination)
- Assist in resolving
- banking / payroll system issues
- **Work with HR to ensure financial accuracy related to GOSI and employee data**
- **Support audits, compliance checks, and regulatory requirements**
Requirements
- CPA / SOCPA / ACCA (or equivalent)
- Minimum
- 3+ years experience in Saudi Arabia
- **Strong hands-on experience with:**
- **ZATCA portal**
- VAT & Zakat filings
- Financial reporting
- Experience handling
- foreign-invested companies
- preferred
- Ability to work independently and deliver results quickly
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
Work Structure
- **Part-time / As Needed (Remote)**
- **Flexible engagement:**
- **Retainer OR**
- Project-based / hourly
- Occasional meetings in Jeddah/Makkah if required
Immediate Priorities (Important)
- The selected candidate will initially be expected to:
- Review and ensure
- tax return compliance (urgent deadline)
- **Check and correct ZATCA account status**
- **Assist in preparing financial statements**
- **Support in resolving payroll/banking issues**
