Senior Accountant - Accounts Payable

The Senior Accountant – AP will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of payments.

The role requires strong experience with Oracle NetSuite, transactional accounting systems (TAS), and exposure to commission processing and escrow audits.

The ideal candidate will bring analytical rigor, attention to detail, and a drive to enhance process efficiency.

· Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable operations — invoice verification, coding, approvals, and payments.

· Oversee vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

· Ensure AP processes comply with company policies, SOX/internal controls, and regulatory standards.

· Prepare monthly AP aging reports and payment forecasts.

· Work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions in Oracle NetSuite.

· Support month-end closing activities, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

· Process employee expense claims and vendor advances per company policy.

· Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to maintain vendor master data integrity.

· Handle commission processing in TAS, including data validation, commission calculation based on individual or team performance metrics, review of payout files, and integration with payroll or general ledger.

· Participate in escrow account audits, ensuring accurate tracking of escrow receipts, releases, and reconciliations in compliance with audit requirements.

· Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization in AP and related financial areas.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA UK, CA

· 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior AP or general ledger role.

· Oracle NetSuite experience required; knowledge of TAS preferred.

· Proven ability to process and reconcile commissions accurately and manage audit-compliant escrow accounts.

· Strong Excel and data analysis skills; proficiency with accounting automation tools is a plus.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.

· Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
