About This Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Candidate to lead and oversee the company’s billing and invoicing function. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate, timely invoicing, strong financial controls, and compliance with UAE VAT regulations. This role requires managing invoicing operations, supervising staff (if applicable), and collaborating closely with finance, sales, and operations teams to support overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Review and approve customer invoices in compliance with contracts, LPOs, and delivery documents (GRN)
• Ensure all invoicing activities comply with UAE VAT laws and company policies
• Manage and monitor accounts receivable, including aging analysis and collections follow-up
• Lead customer and supplier reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Supervise and guide invoicing/accounting staff (if applicable)
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to ensure accurate billing data
• Oversee month-end closing related to invoicing, including revenue recognition, accruals, and journal entries
• Monitor cash inflows and support cash flow planning
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all invoicing transactions
• Support VAT return preparation and ensure accurate reporting of revenue
• Oversee bank-related transactions such as Telegraphic Transfers (TT) and Letters of Credit (LC), where applicable
• Provide reports and analysis on billing, revenue trends, and outstanding receivables to management
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
• Establish and improve invoicing processes, controls, and efficiencies

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5- 7 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of VAT filing and compliance
• Experience in handling LC documentation and bank transactions
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in trading or contracting companies
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA – partially qualified or pursuing) is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
