Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and company policies.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger, trial balance, and reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support external and internal audits, ensuring timely completion.
Project & Cost Accounting
- Monitor and control project costs, revenues, and profitability.
- Review project budgets, variations, and cost allocations.
- Maintain accurate records of project expenses, subcontractor payments, and client billings.
- Analyze project cash flows and report variances against budget.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Oversee supplier invoices, subcontractor bills, and employee claims for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and follow-up with clients for outstanding payments.
- Maintain proper aging analysis of payables and receivables.
Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, timely filing of VAT returns, and maintaining supporting documentation.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities as required.
- Ensure compliance with company’s financial and internal control policies.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for project execution.
- Monitor bank facilities (LCs, performance bonds, guarantees) and coordinate with banks.
- Manage petty cash, project imprests, and employee reimbursements.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy of their work.
- Provide guidance and training on accounting procedures, systems, and controls.
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and contracts teams for financial matters.
