Seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support management decision-making.
Location: Doha, Qatar. Minimum 5 years of experience. Employment type: full-time.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and provide insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and Qatar financial regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors and assist in internal and external audits.
- Review invoices, payments, and expense reports for accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience; senior accounting experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
- Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Arabic and English are required.

- Pay is listed as starting from QAR 1 per month.
