MINIMUM EDUCATION: Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Three to five years in a security role, law enforcement or military disciplines or equivalent training which might include criminal justice, homeland security, or law enforcement academy is preferred).

 Level II Noncommissioned Security Officer with the Texas Commission on Private Security within 60 days of hire  Must maintain a valid state driver’s license.  Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.  Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) within 60 days of employment or transfer date into the department
