Oversee the security shift to protect patrons, employees, and company assets.
Supervise programs and processes intended to reduce and control lost-time injuries.
Key accountabilities
- Maintain staffing coverage at gates, posts, and patrols, including arranging additional hours when required, and keep security equipment ready.
- Plan and supervise shift activities, including vehicle and foot patrols; conduct site walk-rounds and escalate security concerns according to company procedures.
- Evaluate security officers’ performance and implement improvements assigned by the Industrial Security Operation Department.
- Investigate accidents and security events during the shift and prepare reports with required supporting documents.
- Supervise and participate in security and firefighting drills and attend critique meetings.
- Monitor weapon handover, take-over, loading, and unloading under government instructions and department procedures; report loss or damage.
- Maintain security control protocols for Shipyard facilities and stakeholder assets.
- Prepare clear technical security incident reports in English and Arabic.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial management, security management, or criminal justice, or equivalent military, civil, or police experience.
- Related diploma holders require 11–15 years of related experience or equivalent; bachelor’s degree holders require 3–9 years or equivalent.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Professional qualifications
- Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and Industrial Security Officer (ISO) certifications are listed.
- Related public, leadership, and management certificates are listed; related experience certificate is noted if available.
