Security Platform Engineer – Cloud, Endpoint & Compliance

Overview

Contract: 12-Month Extendable Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and operate cloud and endpoint security platforms
• Support vulnerability management and compliance scanning activities
• Administer runtime/container security and cloud posture management tooling
• Maintain malware defence and endpoint protection platforms
• Configure and tune detection policies and compliance controls
• Integrate security tooling with SIEM and ticketing platforms
• Support incident response and security investigations
• Produce security posture and compliance reporting
• Work closely with Security Operations, Engineering, and DevSecOps teams
• Tooling experience required:

• Palo Alto Prisma

• Tenable
• Sandbox/Antivirus scanner platform

Required Experience

• Strong experience in cybersecurity engineering or cloud security roles
• Hands-on exposure to endpoint security and vulnerability management platforms
• Experience with cloud security technologies and hybrid environments
• Understanding of CSPM, compliance frameworks, and security hardening
• Knowledge of threat detection, incident response, and security operations
• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience working within enterprise-scale environments
• Nice to Have
• Container/Kubernetes security exposure
• DevSecOps or CI/CD security experience
• Experience with Prisma Cloud, Tenable, Microsoft Defender, or similar technologies
• Exposure to CIS, NIST, ISO27001, or related frameworks
• This role would suit someone from a Cloud Security, Platform Security, Endpoint Security, DevSecOps, or Cybersecurity Engineering background looking to work on a large, high-impact programme within a mature enterprise environment.
