Security Officer (Dubai Hub)

Job Purpose

In This Role, You Will

• Implement and monitor security measures in collaboration with the Security Controller to protect aircraft within the airport, including pre-departure and post-arrival checks, emphasizing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by all staff.
• Ensure compliance with security procedures related to cargo, highlight any violations or breaches, and suggest corrective actions, in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by all involved.
• Implement security measures at airport facilities, including gates and entrances, to bolster overall security, ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed by all staff.
• Implement Standard Operating Procedures. Also be responsible for proposing any modifications to improve the effectiveness of these procedures to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with the best security practices.
• Commit to close cooperation with colleagues for the general good and efficient procedure implementation. Also maintain compliance with regulations and cooperate with our partners, whether governmental or private, to enhance security efforts and integrated response across various sectors.
• Oversee the development of team skills through ongoing training and performance evaluations to keep pace with the latest security practices and technologies. This also includes encouraging learning and innovation to improve security procedures and responses.

Qualification

• To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
• Professional/academic qualifications in Aviation Security (AVSEC).
• Experience within aviation security including cargo security and loss prevention.
• Good planning skills.
