About the Role
NourNet is looking to hire, on behalf of a client in the financial sector, a Security Detection & System Engineer specializing in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Data Security, and Application Security.
The selected candidate will engineer, operate, and optimize security controls that protect critical information assets and support secure digital operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize IGA platforms (e.g., SailPoint) and IAM tools.
- Troubleshoot identity workflows, access provisioning, and RBAC issues.
- Support secure application onboarding and role design with AppDev and Architecture teams.
- Implement and maintain DLP, database activity monitoring, and application-level data controls.
- Support secure configuration and policy management for WAF, API security, and web gateways.
- Investigate and resolve DLP incidents and application protection issues.
- Integrate identity and data security logs into SIEM platforms.
- Support detection engineering and telemetry enablement across identity and data systems.
- Contribute to security design patterns for identity, data, and application protection.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IAM/IGA, data security, and application security.
- Hands-on experience with DLP, database monitoring, SIEM integrations, and RBAC.
- Strong troubleshooting and integration skills across identity and security platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
