Security Analyst (EMIRATI)

About This Role

𝐉 𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞: 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐭 (𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Security Analyst to join a 24/7 Security Operations function. The role focuses on continuous monitoring of IT and OT environments, identifying cyber threats, and supporting incident response activities in a fast-paced security operations setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security events across IT and OT systems using SIEM and related security tools to detect potential threats and anomalies
• Analyze and validate security alerts, ensuring accurate classification, prioritization, and escalation of confirmed incidents
• Conduct initial incident response activities including log analysis, threat triage, and identification of false positives or suspicious activity patterns
• Escalate security incidents to senior analysts with complete contextual findings, ensuring smooth handover for deeper investigation and response
• Support security operations improvement by assisting in tuning detection rules, enhancing monitoring capabilities, and refining operational procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders during incident handling, investigations, and post-incident reviews to strengthen overall security posture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in information security or IT operations, with hands-on exposure to security monitoring and incident handling
• Experience working in SOC environments and familiarity with SIEM tools and log analysis
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles, threat detection, and incident response processes
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCTI, GCFA, or GNFA are preferred
• Ability to work in shift rotations, including weekends, and participate in on-call support for security incidents
