Security/Access Control Manager

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Review technical submissions and monitor designer and contractor progress and performance.
• Support procurement documentation, tender evaluations, and award recommendations.
• Coordinate permits and approvals with stakeholder teams.
• Support construction and quality teams with RFIs, field changes, non-conformance reports, and inspection requests.
• Support vendor factory testing, inspections, commissioning, testing, and handover.
• Coordinate system designs across disciplines, contracts, work packages, and stakeholders.
• Review design criteria, vendor submissions, construction records, and start-up test reports.
• Advise customer representatives and deliver engineering documentation, presentations, and reports.
• Conduct compliance audits and support verification packages for completed systems and facilities.

Education and experience

• Requires a bachelor's degree or international equivalent and 10–13 years of relevant experience, or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.

Knowledge and skills

• Knowledge and experience in security and access control design, intruder detection, surveillance, operational control center systems, and key suiting programs.
• Familiarity with national and international design codes and sustainability requirements, including LEED and PEER accreditation.
• Understanding of airport design codes and criteria and Saudi Arabia HCIS requirements and approval processes.
• Experience integrating airport security systems with building management systems and SCADA; knowledge of system interfaces.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM processes, and Navisworks.
