Role overview

Secure design and delivery

• Oversee secure design for strategic enterprise platforms and vendor solutions, integrating reviews into roadmaps, delivery pipelines, and release governance.
• Own timely, high-quality cybersecurity design reviews and assessments against applicable standards, policies, and controls.
• Assess design risks, communicate recommendations, and track actions, exceptions, and remediation through governance.
• Guide teams in embedding proportionate security requirements throughout technology lifecycles.
• Manage review priorities and deploy team capacity effectively.

Leadership and improvement

• Set team objectives, roles, and quality expectations; review progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Coach colleagues and build team capability through knowledge sharing and practical guidance.
• Build stakeholder relationships and align stakeholders on scope, priorities, risk treatment, and decisions.
• Improve processes, controls, documentation, standards, guidance, training materials, and operating procedures.

AI innovation

• Identify and prioritize AI opportunities that improve cyber review processes, decision support, and team productivity.
• Oversee security and governance assessments of AI-enabled solutions, including cybersecurity, privacy, data security, quality, and risk.
• Monitor technology trends and translate their implications into strategy and service improvement recommendations.
• Promote ethical and responsible technology use that supports professional judgment and stakeholder trust.

Required qualifications

• 5+ years leading SSDLC, secure design, application security, cybersecurity architecture, technology risk, or related governance activities.
• Experience managing multiple reviews or workstreams from planning through delivery, including prioritization, resourcing, governance, and escalation.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, secure-by-design practices, risk management, application security, and modern technology architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud, SaaS, enterprise platforms, modern application architectures, Agile, and DevOps or DevSecOps.
• Knowledge of AI technologies, security and governance considerations, and practical applications.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, facilitation, and communication skills.
• People leadership experience, including setting expectations, coaching, feedback, and developing an inclusive team.

Preferred qualifications

• A degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or equivalent is preferred.
• CISSP, CCSP, or an equivalent cybersecurity qualification is preferred.
• Experience with SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or ServiceNow is preferred.

Compensation

• Salary range is $85,000–$156,000; the posting does not specify a pay cadence.
