Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies, test cases, and scripts.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, QA, and cross-functional development teams.
• Write manual test cases from acceptance test criteria.
• Analyze logs, verify and reproduce defects, and support correction.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and estimation activities.
• Coordinate with the team to accomplish quality and delivery tasks.

Primary Skills

• Robot Framework with Python.
• API and service automation.
• CI/CD and DevOps automation, including GitHub Actions.
• AI-assisted quality engineering using GitHub Copilot and generative AI tools.
• Test data management and data validation.
• Modern automation frameworks and emerging automation technologies.
• Database understanding and SQL.
• Troubleshooting complex issues to determine root causes.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of QA experience.
• B.E., B.Tech, or MCA qualification.
• Experience writing manual test cases based on acceptance criteria.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and Scrum activities.
• Strong communication, coordination, independent working, and detail-oriented skills.

Secondary Skills

• Selenium WebDriver, Page Object Model, dynamic locators, and waits.
• BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and reporting tools such as Allure or Extent.
• Automation framework design and development is an added advantage.
