Required experience and background
- 8–10 years of technology delivery experience, including substantial hands-on Scrum Master experience in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting large-scale Agile delivery in banking, wealth management, investment, brokerage, or financial technology initiatives.
- Practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, scaled Agile delivery, and hybrid governance models.
- Experience working across product, engineering, quality assurance, architecture, infrastructure, security, operations, and vendor teams.
- Experience managing dependencies, risks, impediments, release readiness, and reporting across multiple workstreams.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, testing, environments, change management, and production releases.
- Experience in regulated, enterprise-scale technology environments.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach Product Owners, delivery teams, and stakeholders on Scrum principles, Agile practices, and collaboration.
- Identify and remove impediments, escalating blockers and cross-team dependencies as needed.
- Partner with the Product Owner on backlog readiness, prioritization, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals.
- Promote accountability, self-organization, sustainable delivery, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor delivery health with metrics including sprint progress, velocity, predictability, cycle time, and defect patterns.
- Coordinate dependencies across teams, vendors, infrastructure, security, operations, testing, and release management.
- Support release planning, environment readiness, production deployment coordination, and post-release reviews.
- Align delivery practices with enterprise governance, risk, compliance, and regulatory controls.
- Improve stakeholder communication and transparency on risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery forecasts.
- Contribute to Agile maturity through shared practices, communities of practice, and consistent standards.
- Support multi-vendor and cross-region teams, including UAE and Swiss technology team alignment where applicable.
