Role and team

Delivery and facilitation

• Leads Scrum ceremonies and facilitates planning, prioritization, and execution.
• Supports annual OKRs and quarterly delivery plans, aligning business priorities with team commitments.
• Manages dependencies, removes impediments, supports problem-solving and conflict resolution, and helps teams meet agreed objectives and timelines.
• Maintains delivery plans and roadmaps, monitors milestones, coordinates cross-team work, and reports delivery status.
• Prepares and coordinates data and analytics reports.

Operations and stakeholders

• Coordinates intake, triage, and prioritization of data incidents, ServiceNow requests, business intakes, vulnerability management, and operational issues.
• Supports change impact assessment, readiness, communication, and coordination to minimize disruption to data services.
• Tracks risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints and facilitates escalation and mitigation.
• Builds relationships with business, technology, vendor, and executive stakeholders and provides visibility into delivery progress and decisions.
• Promotes continuous improvement, team collaboration, transparency, knowledge sharing, and ownership of delivery outcomes.

Essential qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
• Minimum 2 years supporting project delivery and operational activities in a technology environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of SDLC, Agile principles, DevOps, and Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
• Basic understanding of cloud-based data platforms and delivery and operation of data solutions.

Assets

• Scrum Master and/or project management certification such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or DASSM.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Planview; project management, technical business analysis, or business systems analysis experience.
• Working knowledge of ITIL and ServiceNow ITSM practices.
• Reporting analytics experience with Power BI, MS Fabric, Azure Databricks, Purview, Azure Cloud Engineering, or Profisee.
• Bilingual ability in English and French.

Workplace

• Hybrid work environment with a current requirement to work from the Ottawa office three days per week; this requirement may change.

Compensation

• Annual salary typically ranges from CAD 84,698 to CAD 112,931, based on qualifications and experience, plus a performance-based incentive.
