Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology, or a related scientific discipline required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience; additional experience in analytical development or GMP assay validation strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting late-stage development or regulated laboratory environments is preferred.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
- Candidates located within a commutable distance to Berkeley, CA are highly encouraged to apply
- Mon-Friday 1st Shift, No weekend or holiday work
- Strong experience with mammalian cell culture .
- Hands-on experience with cell biology analytical methods, including c ell count and viability , high-resolution imaging , live-cell imaging , and cell-based potency assays .
- Experience with fluorescence microscopy, Incucyte, and Cytation instrumentation preferred.
- Experience with HPLC is a plus.
- Working knowledge of analytical method development, assay optimization, qualification, and validation in a GMP environment.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex experimental data, troubleshoot assay performance issues, and support method improvements.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write and review SOPs, technical reports, and scientific documentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, managers, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Solid understanding of GMP requirements and documentation practices.
