Scaffolding Supervisor overseeing safe erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffold structures.
The supervisor manages scaffolding teams, inspects materials, coordinates with site engineers, and supports project schedules.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and motivate scaffolding teams; conduct daily toolbox talks and job safety analyses.
- Inspect scaffolding daily and certify structures using green, red, and yellow tag systems.
- Interpret construction drawings, identify scaffolding needs, and manage material inventory.
- Enforce safety standards, including working-at-height regulations, to prevent accidents.
- Coordinate with site managers, contractors, and project stakeholders to meet timelines.
- Ensure scaffold structural integrity and safe erection, alteration, and dismantling.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of scaffolding experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
- CISRS, OSHA, or equivalent scaffolding supervisor certification is typically required.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, tube-and-fitting, and system scaffolds.
- Expertise in UAE construction site safety standards.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 5,000–6,000 per month.
