SAUDI ARABIA Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Heart Surgery

The Cardiac Operating Room at our client hospital is a specialised perioperative unit within the their Cardiac Center, operating five cardiac theatres including a hybrid lab used for interventional radiology procedures in a sterile OR setting.

Theatres: 5 dedicated cardiac operating rooms

OR 1: Hybrid interventional operating room suite

OR 2 to OR 5: Conventional cardiac surgery theatres [ngha.med.sa]

Hours of Operation:

Emergency coverage 7 days/week by two dedicated teams [ngha.med.sa]

Approximately 850 cardiac procedures/month

Age groups: Adult, paediatric, and neonatal

Typical diagnoses:

Coronary artery disease

Valve pathologies (aortic, mitral, pulmonary)

Aortic aneurysms

Congenital cardiac defects

Pleural/pericardial effusions [ngha.med.sa

CABG (on pump and off pump)

Valve replacement/repair, aortic aneurysm surgery

Emergency procedures, including ECMO initiation

Pediatric open-heart surgeries (TOF, Fontan, Glenn, TAPVD, AV canal repairs)

Re-explorations (drainage, reconstruction, washouts)

Diagnostic and minor surgical interventions (bronchoscopy, laparoscopy, tracheostomy, gastrostomy), plus additional approved procedures [ngha.med.sa] Benefits
