Satellite Subsystem Systems Engineer

Qualifications

• TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
• To excel in this role, you must possess: • Active TS/SCI clearance. • Expertise in spacecraft design and engineering, with proficiency in at least one satellite subsystem (e.g., structures and mechanisms, electrical power, attitude and orbit control, thermal control, command and data handling, propulsion) and a keen interest in rapidly learning others. • Strong system engineering experience, particularly in spacecraft design, development, and implementation. • Hands-on experience with pre-launch integration testing and functionality checkout of spacecraft systems. • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 9 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 7 years of experience.
• Desired Qualifications Additional qualifications that set you apart include: • 6+ years of experience as a satellite developer, supplier, or SETA working on DoD or IC satellite programs. • 2+ years of experience in multiple satellite subsystems or spacecraft C2 operations.
