Overview
SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Consultant is required ASAP by our global client.
The successful candidate will design and execute complex data transfers from legacy systems into an S/4HANA environment overseeing the complete data lifecycle—extracting, cleansing, mapping, transforming, and loading data—while ensuring data integrity across financial, supply chain, and operational modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, end-to-end data migration solutions and data governance standards.
- Lead legacy data mapping sessions and mock migration cycles to ensure data alignment with S/4HANA data structures.
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and validation using standard tools (e.g., LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit) and custom programs.
- Facilitate data quality reviews, integration testing, cutover rehearsals, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Enforce data security and privacy compliance across all migrated modules. [1,
Essential Qualifications MUST include
- 5-8+ years of experience in data migration, specifically handling SAP ECC to S/4HANA or native S/4HANA implementations.
- Proficiency with SAP standard migration tools such as the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench), and SAP BODS.
- Deep understanding of data structures across core modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, HR, EWM
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities for data manipulation, SQL, and ideally a baseline familiarity with ABAP development.
- Strong communication skills
- Prevous track record of longevity on previous projects
- IT Consultancy / SI company experience
