Role overview

ERP delivery and business analysis

• Analyze business requirements and operational processes and translate needs into SAP or Oracle ERP solutions.
• Participate in ERP implementation, enhancement, migration, integration, and optimization projects.
• Configure and customize SAP or Oracle modules for relevant business areas, which may include Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, or HR.
• Prepare functional specifications, requirements, process flows, and solution documentation; work with developers to translate functional needs into technical solutions.

Testing, integration, and support

• Design and review configurations, workflows, reports, interfaces, and business processes; conduct system, integration, UAT, and regression testing.
• Prepare test cases and scripts, expected results, and defect reports; investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate troubleshooting.
• Support data migration, validation, master-data management, system conversion, cleansing, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate integrations with third-party applications and enterprise platforms, including API, middleware, EDI, and web-service requirements where applicable.
• Support reports, dashboards, workflows, and enhancements; monitor performance, reliability, data integrity, and process effectiveness.
• Provide production support, resolve incidents, and manage system changes, patches, upgrades, and releases.

Documentation and governance

• Prepare user manuals, technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge-transfer documents; conduct user training, workshops, demonstrations, and walkthroughs.
• Support ERP upgrades, version migrations, cloud transformation, and digitalization initiatives.
• Help ensure solutions comply with internal controls, security policies, audit requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Communicate with project managers, business users, developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders; evaluate capabilities and recommend improvements.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP Consultant, Oracle Consultant, ERP Consultant, or in a similar enterprise-systems role.
• Strong understanding of ERP implementation, configuration, support, and optimization; hands-on experience with SAP or Oracle applications and relevant functional modules.

Additional qualifications

• Experience gathering requirements and producing functional specifications; experience with ERP configuration, customization, testing, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of databases, SQL, APIs, middleware, system interfaces, data migration, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, ITIL, or other project and service-management methodologies and with system-development or project-management tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, technical writing, communication, stakeholder-management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, manage multiple priorities, and work independently or collaboratively.
• SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Cloud, relevant certifications, large-scale transformation, cloud migration, and multinational experience are advantageous or a plus.
