Role overview

Full-time, mid-level Product Owner | Scrum Master role combining product ownership with Agile delivery leadership.

Defines product priorities, manages the backlog, facilitates Scrum practices, removes delivery obstacles, and supports cross-functional teams in delivering valuable products.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, objectives, priorities, roadmaps, and requirements based on business needs, customer feedback, and market requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize the backlog; create user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications, sprint goals, and release plans.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and backlog refinement; support sprint commitments and remove or escalate blockers.
  • Coordinate developers, designers, QA specialists, business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders; clarify priorities and requirements.
  • Review features and validate deliverables against business and quality expectations.
  • Monitor product performance, adoption, customer satisfaction, KPIs, feedback, and Agile delivery metrics.
  • Coordinate releases and communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
  • Coach teams and stakeholders in Agile practices, facilitate retrospectives, resolve conflicts, and improve delivery processes.
  • Align product initiatives with organizational strategy and balance customer needs, business objectives, technical considerations, and team capacity.

Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, IT, computer science, product management, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Agile delivery professional.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum, product development, iterative delivery, and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience with product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and product documentation.
  • Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and Agile team meetings.
  • Strong stakeholder communication, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict-resolution, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar Agile tools.
  • Ability to interpret product analytics, KPIs, customer feedback, and delivery metrics; able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in digital products, software development, SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, or technology environments is an advantage.
  • CSPO, PSPO, CSM, or equivalent certification is advantageous; experience with multiple products, teams, or complex stakeholder environments is a plus.
