Role Overview
Seeking an experienced SAP BI / BusinessObjects (BOBJ) Consultant to support and enhance reporting solutions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role involves resolving BI support issues, developing reports and dashboards, and maintaining SAP BusinessObjects and BW environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve BI support tickets within agreed service levels and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Web Intelligence, Lumira/Designer, Crystal Reports, and Analysis for Office.
- Maintain universes, data sources, BW queries, and data extraction from SAP S/4HANA.
- Enhance reporting frameworks to meet business requirements, particularly for finance and procurement.
- Support BOBJ platform administration, including scheduling, security, content promotion, and upgrades in coordination with the SAP Basis team.
- Conduct testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new and modified reports.
- Follow SAP best practices, maintain technical documentation, and ensure proper source code handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP BI / BusinessObjects, with experience delivering 2-3 projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.x, including Web Intelligence, Information Design Tool (IDT), and Central Management Console (CMC).
- Experience in SAP BW / BW/4HANA modelling, SQL, and SAP HANA CDS views or calculation views.
- Proven experience designing dashboards and reports for finance and procurement users.
- Previous experience working on Saudi public-sector projects.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to work with ticket management, secure access, and multi-factor authentication.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certification in BW or BI/Analytics is preferred.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, Arabic right-to-left reporting, or government KPI dashboards is an advantage.
