Salon Receptionist

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and create a friendly, welcoming environment.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments; keep the booking system up to date.
• Assist with client check-in and check-out, process payments, and provide receipts.
• Answer phone calls and emails, respond to inquiries, and handle concerns professionally.
• Keep the reception desk, front area, and waiting area neat and welcoming.
• Maintain client records, including appointment history and special requirements.
• Coordinate with salon staff on service delivery, scheduling conflicts, and updates.
• Handle cash and track cash flow accurately; assist with salon product and supply inventory.

Qualifications

• 2 years of salon receptionist experience is required.
• Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience is preferred, particularly in a salon.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; organization and attention to detail; ability to multitask and collaborate with staff.
• Comfort using salon booking software, point-of-sale systems, and basic office equipment.
• FRESHA knowledge or willingness to learn, beauty-related experience, basic salon product and service knowledge, and bilingual ability are preferred or advantageous.

Pay

• Full-time role; pay is AED 2,500–3,000 per month.
