Salesforce Technical Lead

About the role

What you'll do

• Own Salesforce technical delivery from solution design through development, deployment and go-live.
• Lead client discovery and design sessions; translate business requirements into scalable solutions and technical documentation.
• Guide project teams and stakeholders on technical roadmaps, architecture and the platform.
• Lead and mentor developers, delegate work, review deliverables and maintain development quality and coding standards.
• Own technical plans, risks, dependencies, timelines and resourcing across the development lifecycle.
• Align delivery with client goals, budgets, timelines and expectations; bridge development teams, project leaders and client stakeholders.
• Drive agile/Scrum delivery and maintain documentation, knowledge transfer, code quality and best practices.
• Advise on Salesforce solutions, support business development and pre-sales, and address complex technical challenges.
• Use AI tools such as Claude Code to accelerate delivery while safely validating and rolling out changes.

Essential qualifications

• 10+ years of consulting or technology experience, including 7+ years of Salesforce experience.
• Proven Technical Lead or Technical Architect experience on enterprise Salesforce implementations.
• Experience designing and delivering complex Salesforce solutions and integrations with third-party and client systems.
• Several successful Salesforce implementations using agile or iterative methods.
• Strong Salesforce architecture and CRM ecosystem knowledge; experience leading technical design and producing documentation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience contributing to business development and pre-sales as a Salesforce subject-matter expert.
• Active Salesforce certifications or willingness to earn relevant certifications.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh or Jeddah, with willingness to travel to client sites when needed.

Technical background

• Hands-on solution architecture, design and Salesforce development experience.
• Custom Salesforce development with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, integrations, web services and data migration.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture, platform and governor limits, APIs, security, data and integration patterns.
• Sales Cloud and Service Cloud experience; exposure to Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud and MuleSoft.
• Uses AI tools such as Claude Code across design and development, with change impact analysis and safe validation.

Nice to have

• Arabic language skills.
• Hands-on Amadeus Digital Integration Hub experience, including event and data models, topics and schemas.
• Kafka/Confluent event streaming experience, including consumer groups, Schema Registry and Avro or JSON serialization.
• Amadeus Web Services and API integration experience.
• Data transformation and mapping, especially nested JSON and EDIFACT into a canonical relational model.
• Travel, aviation or hospitality programme experience; previous delivery in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC.

Location and work arrangement

• The role is based in Saudi Arabia, with location in Riyadh or Jeddah.
