Salesforce System Specialist
About This Role
- The SYSTEMS SPECIALIST will focus on SALESFORCE and related enterprise business applications.
- Responsible for interacting directly with internal users on the daily administration and support on our business systems.
- You will work with the Business Technology team to manage change requests for operational improvements and/or strategic initiatives on our business systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide support and administration for Salesforce and other enterprise business applications.
- Implement and maintain Application customizations, perform maintenance, and manage reporting where applicable.
- Contribute to continuous efforts to improve internal system processes by helping identify and implement new business applications, enhancements, and system integrations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual work, improve reporting, and increase team productivity through thoughtful use of automation and AI-enabled tools.
- Handle numerous projects/priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure quality delivery of solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on platforms' development and enhancements to understand current functionality.
- Engage with IT Services, IT Operations, IT Infrastructure, and third-party vendors to develop solutions and resolve problems.
- Respond to user application issues and enhancements in accordance to defined SLAs.
- Assist with integrations across the landscape of Salesforce and related business applications, collaborating with internal resources and third-party vendors.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as needed.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Overalll 5 years of experience implementing, configuring, and administering Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud preferred).
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator (Desired)
- Exposure to Financial Services Cloud, Certinia PSA, Agentforce and Data Cloud
- Experience building declarative automations using Salesforce Flow (Screen Flows, Record-Triggered Flows, Scheduled Flows, support of Workflows and Process Builder).
- Experience with administration of relevant business systems: Lucidchart, Smartsheet, OfficeSpace, SignIn Enterprise
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms, with the judgment to use them responsibly to accelerate research, drafting, analysis, documentation, troubleshooting, and workflow design.
- Understanding of complex business processes and applications.
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, with good time management skills.
- Exposure to JIRA or similar project management software for tracking work items, sprints, and team collaboration.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Demonstrated ability to set proper time and resource expectations with stakeholders.
- Experience in process flow documentation strongly preferred.
