Role purpose

TECEZE is seeking a Salesforce Data Cloud and Data 360 Consultant to implement trusted customer data foundations for analytics, segmentation, and AI use cases.

The role connects data sources, establishes useful customer profiles, and helps business teams activate data responsibly.

Hands-on data delivery and reconciliation are central to the role.

The role contributes to client Salesforce consulting and delivery with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Run data discovery sessions covering use cases, source ownership, refresh needs, consent requirements, and customer definitions.
  • Configure Salesforce and external-system connections and ingestion pipelines using batch or streaming approaches.
  • Map source fields into data models and implement transformations, standardization, traceability, and quality checks.
  • Design identity resolution and reconciliation rules and investigate false matches, duplicate profiles, and unresolved records.
  • Build calculated insights, SQL analyses, and audience segments with documented logic and business-owner validation.
  • Configure approved data activation destinations and verify mappings, eligibility rules, and successful delivery.
  • Support Agentforce grounding and retrieval use cases with appropriate sources, permissions, and relevance tests.
  • Implement access restrictions, consent controls, retention requirements, and data lineage.
  • Monitor ingestion errors, latency, consumption, and capacity and recommend optimizations.
  • Prepare test evidence, release documentation, runbooks, and client training.

Required skills and experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or CRM delivery, including at least 2 years of practical Salesforce data-platform implementation or related customer data platform work.
  • Hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud or Data 360 delivery experience, or comparable customer data platform experience with demonstrable Salesforce capability.
  • Strong SQL, data modeling, transformation, and reconciliation skills.
  • Understanding of customer identity matching, unified profiles, segmentation, and activation.
  • Experience with APIs, connectors, data pipelines, error handling, incremental loads, and source-system dependencies.
  • Ability to create testable data designs and explain data limitations to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of permission models, data minimization, consent, and data quality impacts.

Key deliverables and success measures

Deliverables include source-to-target mappings, data models, identity-resolution rules, segment definitions, reconciliation evidence, activation configurations, and support runbooks.

Success is measured by data completeness, freshness, matching quality, approved segment reconciliation, controlled activation, visible failures, and managed processing delays.
