The Power Tools division serves professional, DIY, and industrial customers with power tools, accessories, outdoor power equipment, hand tools, and storage.

The division's brands include Bosch, Dremel, Diablo, and sia Abrasives.

Role overview

Join the Power Tools team as a Sales Representative/ASM.

The position is home-office-based and covers North and North West Victorian regions.

The role involves local and regional travel and includes a mobile phone, laptop, iPad, and tool-of-trade vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory plans to achieve sales and profit targets and grow market share.
  • Manage customer relationships and develop new business opportunities.
  • Present product releases and promotions, and train internal and external stakeholders on the product range.
  • Share market, activity, and competitor feedback; forecast sales and develop initiatives to close gaps or optimize opportunities.
  • Attend trade events, new store openings, and scheduled training.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Proven sales experience and success is essential.
  • Planning, negotiation, and presentation skills are sought.
  • Experience training and demonstrating products to stakeholders is sought.
  • Strong market, competitor, and product knowledge is sought.
  • CRM experience and web-based reporting using Tableau or similar tools are sought.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Teams is sought.
  • Power tools, hardware, or trade experience is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Construction industry exposure is advantageous; strong business acumen is highly regarded.
  • Regular state-based and occasional interstate travel is required.
  • Applicants need Australian citizenship or full Australian work rights.
