Sales Officer
About This Role
Sales Officer for Personal Finance & Credit Cards is responsible for proactively acquiring new customers, promoting and selling personal loan and credit card products, and building strong client relationships.
The role requires a self-motivated, target-driven individual who can identify customer needs, present suitable financial solutions, and ensure a seamless application-to-disbursement experience — all while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
● Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for credit card issuances and personal finance disbursements.
● Proactively source new customers through field visits, cold calls, referrals, employer tie-ups, and events.
● Present and promote personal finance and credit card products to potential customers in a clear and compelling manner.
● Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities with existing customers.
● Maintain a healthy pipeline of leads and follow up consistently to convert applications.
● Understand customer financial needs and recommend the most suitable products.
● Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales journey — from initial contact to card/loan activation.
● Handle customer queries, objections, and complaints professionally and promptly.
Application Processing & Documentation
● Collect and verify all required documents as per KYC and credit policy guidelines.
● Submit complete and accurate applications through the bank's system/CRM in a timely manner.
● Follow up on pending applications and keep customers informed of their status.
Compliance & Risk
● Ensure all sales activities comply with UAE Central Bank regulations, internal policies, and AML/KYC requirements.
● Never misrepresent product features, fees, or terms to customers.
● Report any suspicious activity or potential fraud as per bank policy.
● Complete all mandatory compliance and product training on schedule.
Reporting & CRM Management
● Update the CRM system daily with lead status, applications submitted, and customer interactions.
● Submit daily and weekly sales activity reports to the Team Leader.
● Participate actively in team meetings, briefings, and sales campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
● Relevant certifications in banking or sales are an advantage.
Experience
● 1–3 years of experience in retail banking sales, direct sales, or financial services.
● Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
● Prior experience selling personal loans and/or credit cards in the UAE market is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
● Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
● Self-motivated and target-oriented with a positive attitude.
● Good understanding of personal finance products and credit card features.
● Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
● Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
Fluency in English; Arabic or other languages is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
