Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Managing Director/Sales Director to lead the company’s commercial growth and operational execution.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the automotive spare parts / aftermarket industry, with a proven track record in expanding product portfolios, increasing sales, and entering new markets.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on growth, sales, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategy
- Expand the company’s product portfolio by identifying and sourcing new automotive spare parts
- Identify and enter new geographic markets (Middle East, Africa, etc.)
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and market share
Sales & Commercial Development
- Lead and manage sales and operations teams
- Drive sales growth across existing and new customers
- Build strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and fleet operators
- Improve pricing strategies, product positioning, and competitiveness
Supply Chain & Operations
- Manage supplier relationships and product sourcing (OEM / aftermarket brands)
- Oversee ordering, inventory planning, and supply coordination
- Ensure efficient product availability and minimize stock issues
Collections & Customer Management
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers
- Monitor customer credit and enforce payment discipline
- Maintain strong client relationships while protecting company interests
Requirements
Experience
- 5+ years in automotive industry (mandatory)
- Strong experience in automotive spare parts / aftermarket (trucks & buses preferred)
- Proven experience in sales growth, sourcing, and market expansion
- Prior leadership experience (GM / Director / Managing Director / Sales Director level)
Nice to Have
- Experience in Middle East / Africa / Asia markets
- Existing network with automotive suppliers and distributors
- Multilingual (English required; others a plus)
