Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven **Sales Manager – Sports & Government** to join our Commercial Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business opportunities within the **sports, government, corporate and group segments**, developing strong client relationships and maximizing hotel revenue through strategic sales initiatives.
This role requires a highly motivated professional with strong networking, negotiation, and account management skills, preferably with experience in hospitality sales and a strong understanding of the sports and government sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with government entities, sports organizations, associations and key stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities to increase room nights & meetings revenue.
- Manage and grow existing accounts while actively pursuing new business.
- Conduct sales calls, presentations, site inspections and client meetings.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts and market analysis.
- Participate in trade shows, networking events and industry functions.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure smooth coordination between clients and hotel operations teams.
- Work closely with Revenue, Events and Marketing teams to achieve commercial objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum **3–5 years of experience in hospitality sales**, preferably in sports and government segments in UAE Market.
- Strong knowledge of local market dynamics and business trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems.
