- **Deliver** and **drive** strategies for MICE segments.
- participate in **department budgeting** and **forecasting.**
- work with government bodies and local authorities.
- **sets sales targets** for the hotel and plan towards achieving the goal.
- have contacts in the **local market** / **international market.**
- Conduct **sight visits** and inspections by hosting current as well as future clients.
- understand, create, and prepare proposals and quotes.
- **planning** and **staging client** functions, site inspections; **follow-up post** function on client satisfaction.
- promptly follow up on **outstanding quotes**, **requests for proposals**, **sales enquiries**, pending billing and **closing PM’s**
- familiar with Micros / FMC / Opera and other hotel operating systems
- **analyse client** and **market information** and compile conclusive reports with recommendations for ongoing or new business.
- contribute to weekly / monthly departmental meetings by liasing with internal stakeholders.
- attend **networking events** and functions / make **external sales calls**.
- social media savvy with the ability to **monitor**, **comment** and **follow up** as required.
- collaborate with Executive Chef / F&B Director in creating menus and pricing.
- work as part of a team or individually to deliver **high quality standards**.

- A Self motivated, target orientated individual with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong business acumen
- A relevant qualification relating to Sales & Marketing/Events or Hotel Management
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of PMS Systems
- Must be available in Abu dhabi.
