Sales Manager

Job purpose

Sales planning and team leadership

• Forecast and develop annual regional sales quotas and establish sales objectives.
• Create product-line sales plans by salesperson and customer, and set individual sales goals and KPIs.
• Develop plans to achieve individual and team targets in line with company sales policies and strategies.
• Manage, develop, coach, and motivate the sales force to meet professional standards, monthly sales targets, and KPIs.
• Use performance reviews, rewards, and individual recognition to support target achievement.

Customers, growth, and reporting

• Expand customer targets, acquire new clients, and meet customers to understand evolving needs and assess company relationships.
• Introduce new business lines and develop sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture target demographics.
• Provide on-the-ground support to sales associates as they generate leads and close deals.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.

Stock and professional development

• Maintain inventory and product mix, adjusting selling prices based on supply, demand, trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
• Supervise collection and accounts receivable positions.
• Arrange supplier goods, follow up on logistics issues, and manage stock availability according to market needs.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, professional networks, and professional societies.
• Perform other duties assigned within the scope of the job.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in the orthopedic industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in administration.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, established procedures, departmental guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ability to research and summarize statistical information, use software applications, follow instructions, and maintain effective working relationships.
