The Sales Manager (IT) position is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a prowess in technology and IT solutions.
This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive sales strategies and execution while managing a team of sales professionals.
As a Sales Manager in the IT sector, you will be responsible for setting sales targets, developing sales strategies, building client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
You must possess a deep understanding of the IT industry and a passion for offering technological solutions that meet the needs of businesses.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve outstanding results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals in the IT sector.
- Identify new potential customers and business opportunities within the IT industry.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Analyze market trends to proactively identify new sales opportunities.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics to track the progress of the sales team.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to enhance service offerings.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and industry regulations in all client interactions.
- Prepare and deliver monthly sales performance reports to upper management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in IT sales management roles.
- Proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate a sales team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tracking tools is required.
- In-depth understanding of IT industry trends and competitive dynamics.
