Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Sales Manager** to lead and expand our sales operations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in FMCG sales and distribution within the UAE market, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain key client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, distribution, and growth targets.
· Ensure that each supervisor consistently meets daily and monthly sales targets across value, product mix, area coverage, returns, and promotions.
· Play a hands-on role in the marketplace, motivating and directing Sales Supervisors to maximize sales and maintain high standards of customer service.
· Monitor and report on daily/monthly activities including supervisors’ performance, sales losses, visibility of shelves and displays, out-of-stock products, and staff/vehicle performance.
· Achieve results that deliver strong and sustainable sales performance.
· Allocate daily tasks to supervisors, ensure these are logged, and verify task completion by the end of each working day.
· Monitor market developments and competitor activities, reporting changes and opportunities immediately.
· Conduct regular monthly performance appraisals for each Supervisor and provide rated assessments in line with company policy.
· Provide input into the company’s advertising and promotional plans in line with overall sales strategy and budget.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in **FMCG** within the UAE/GCC.
- Strong network of retail and distribution contacts.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams and deliver sales targets.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- UAE driving license is required.
