The

Sales Manager – Flexible Packaging (Raw Material: Films, Aluminium Foil, Adhesives, Inks, Extrusion Coated Paper, and Zipper Tapes)

will be responsible for leading and driving sales growth within the flexible packaging business.

This role focuses on developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and achieving revenue and profitability targets.

The incumbent will play a key role in expanding market share, leading and developing the sales team, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the flexible packaging market.
  • Manage and grow relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and business development plans.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, meetings, and business reviews.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contract agreements with customers.
  • Ensure timely collection of receivables and maintain healthy account balances.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and performance analysis for management review.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Financial

  • Achieve annual sales revenue targets.
  • Improve gross profit margins through effective pricing strategies.
  • Increase market share in the flexible packaging segment.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.
  • Optimize sales expenses within approved budgets.

Non-Financial

  • Enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop high-performing sales team capabilities.
  • Strengthen key account relationships.
  • Improve sales forecasting accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.

Experience

  • 8–10 years of sales experience.
  • Minimum 4 years in the flexible packaging industry
  • (Raw Materials: Films, Aluminium Foil, Adhesives, Inks, Extrusion Coated Paper, and Zipper Tapes)
  • GCC market exposure and team management experience preferred.
