Job Purpose
The Product Owner (PO) is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog to ensure the development team delivers maximum value to the business and customers.
The PO acts as a bridge between stakeholders, customers, and the development team, translating business needs into actionable features.
Job Responsibilities
- Define product vision, goals, and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, ROI, and customer needs.
- Write clear, detailed, and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with development teams during sprints to clarify requirements and ensure alignment.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, engineers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and business requirements to drive product improvements.
- Track product performance using KPIs and metrics, making data-driven decisions for enhancements.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and development teams to ensure shared understanding.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed product decisions.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
Preferred Educational Qualifications and Professional Certifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Arabic language proficiency is a must.
Experience
4–6 years of experience in product management or product ownership.
