The role focuses on accurate numbers and clear, honest data storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and distribute reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses covering pipeline activity, customer trends, and sales performance.
  • Extract and transform data from Salesforce, data lake and warehouse systems, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Conduct data audits and validation checks to identify gaps and inconsistencies and maintain reliable reporting.
  • Work with Retail, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Bid, IT, and other teams to clarify reporting needs, resolve data issues, and provide timely insights.
  • Document reporting processes, maintain tools, and improve data-building and sharing practices.

Required qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or a related field.
  • High proficiency in Excel, including Power Query, and experience with a CRM such as Salesforce.
  • Hands-on experience with a business intelligence tool such as Power BI or a comparable platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to audit, validate, and maintain data accuracy across reporting workflows.
  • Reliable home office setup and self-directed work habits are required for this fully remote role.

Preferred qualifications and work style

  • Experience supporting sales operations or working with sales and marketing teams is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data lakes or enterprise data extraction processes is preferred.
  • Exposure to reporting-process documentation or tool migrations is preferred.
  • The employer values careful error detection, translating unclear requests into useful outputs, candid communication, and managing competing priorities accurately.

Compensation and benefits

  • For new employees residing in Los Angeles or Orange Counties, the stated hiring range is $22.35–$24.03 per hour, depending on experience and skillset.
  • The posting also says annual base compensation considers experience, location, and skillset.
