Sales & Business Development Executive

Main Responsibilities
- Building and working a pipeline of enterprise opportunities across your defined market and target verticals;
- Developing senior relationships across target accounts over time, not just at the point of an active opportunity;
- Running client conversations that start with the client's business context and challenges before getting anywhere near a product conversation;
- Working with technical and delivery teams to shape proposals that are grounded in what we can actually deliver;
- Owning the full cycle from prospecting through commercial negotiation to contract signature
- Maintaining accurate pipeline and forecast visibility.
Profile we are looking for
- Academic qualifications at secondary school or bachelor's level, in the areas of IT or Math;
- At least three years selling complex IT or software solutions into enterprise accounts in mature markets;
- Have sold into regulated industries, navigated formal procurement processes, and have a track record of closed deals at meaningful contract values.
- Able to work independently and build a pipeline from scratch without an established account base handed to you;
- Familiarity with how SAP, Mendix, or Dynatrace are bought and implemented inside large enterprises will shorten your ramp time considerably;
- Technically comfortable enough to hold a credible conversation at senior level without needing a pre-sales engineer in every early meeting;
- Strong presence and communication skills appropriate for executive and government engagements;
- Fluent in English with local language capability in your target market being a practical advantage;
- Based in or with genuine proximity to your target market and willing to travel for client meetings;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and resilience skills.
