About the position

Responsibilities

• Answer questions about product features, benefits, and availability and learn customers’ needs and preferences.
• Demonstrate merchandise and recommend suitable options.
• Maintain visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety standards; retrieve merchandise from store inventory locations.
• Process sales, returns, exchanges, and loyalty program transactions accurately.
• Receive, handle, replenish, and process incoming and outgoing products.

Qualifications

• One year or less of experience in a position or specialization.
• Skill operating inventory and point-of-sale systems and other retail software tools.
• Ability to communicate clearly with others.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred; no specific education is required.

Work conditions and schedule

• The role involves frequent movement and may require moving items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• The role may involve specialized equipment, dust, and noise.
• Availability for a flexible retail schedule is required; hours may change based on seasonal and location-specific business needs.
