In the segment of professional tools and testing instruments, we supply a full portfolio of industrial-grade tools, safety tools, power system testers, environmental testing devices and project auxiliary equipment. We help clients streamline fragmented procurement, improve selection efficiency, and match the right tools and instruments according to actual on-site application scenarios.

2) Position Summary

We are recruiting a Business Development Representative – Professional Tools & Testing Instruments to drive business expansion across the UAE market .

This is a flexible part-time cooperative role , ideal for professionals who already hold local client resources, industry networks, distributor connections and project leads in power utilities, electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, construction, oil & gas, general infrastructure, manufacturing, facility management and technical service sectors.

You will focus on developing opportunities for professional tools and testing instruments, including electric tools, pneumatic tools, high-voltage insulated tools, antimagnetic & explosion-proof tool series, power system testing instruments, environmental testing devices and other specialty industrial & engineering tools.

This is not basic retail sales. We need someone who can understand client application scenarios, identify tool and instrument demands, bridge UAE local market needs with our global product resources, and push business opportunities forward commercially.

3) Main Responsibilities

Business Growth & Customer Development

  • Explore and develop new business opportunities for professional tools and testing instruments throughout the UAE.
  • Build long-term relationships with power authorities, electrical contractors, industrial enterprises, oil & gas operators, construction firms, maintenance service providers, engineering companies, distributors, dealers, tool retailers and project stakeholders.
  • Identify potential buyers requiring professional tools, safety equipment and industrial testing & measurement instruments.
  • Expand local market coverage by mining project leads, distributor channels, bulk procurement demands and long-term partnership possibilities.
  • Act as the bridge connecting UAE local client demand with SolutionMall’s complete product and service resources.

Product Promotion & Requirement Matching

Promote our full range of professional tools and testing instruments, including:

  • Electric tools
  • Pneumatic tools
  • High-voltage insulated tools
  • Antimagnetic tools
  • Explosion-proof tools
  • Industrial safety tools
  • Power system testing instruments
  • Electrical testing & measurement devices
  • Environmental testing instruments
  • Maintenance & inspection tools
  • Engineering project supporting tools
  • Specialty tools for utility sites, industrial plants and infrastructure projects

Understand client requirements and match suitable product categories, specifications, safety standards and application scenarios.

Assist clients in confirming demands such as tool type, voltage grade, working environment, safety regulations, measuring range, precision level, certification requirements, delivery schedule and after-sales service expectations.

Support technical communication regarding product specs, parameter documents, compliance standards, certification validation and product selection guidance.

Client Communication & Opportunity Follow-up

  • Engage in client discussions on product requirements, application scenarios, technical parameters, safety norms, procurement plans and commercial terms.
  • Follow up inquiries, RFQs, tender projects, distributor requests and project-related leads for tools and testing instruments.
  • Support quotation coordination, product recommendation, sample confirmation, supplier liaison and opportunity progression.
  • Align client expectations with product availability, technical capability, certification support, delivery capacity and service scope.
  • Maintain steady communication with local clients, contractors, distributors, dealers and engineering procurement channels.

Channel Development & Market Insight

  • Develop cooperative channels with UAE local distributors, dealers, tool suppliers, engineering contractors, electrical firms, power service providers and industrial maintenance & testing service companies.
  • Collect local market feedback on demand trends, product preferences, price sensitivity, safety standards, certification thresholds, competitor dynamics and channel layout.
  • Analyze which professional tools and testing instrument categories have strong market demand in the UAE.
  • Explore long-term local cooperation opportunities within professional tools, power testing, industrial maintenance and environmental testing segments.

4) Candidate Profile

Required

Background in business development, channel expansion, distributor management, technical product sales or client relationship management in fields including:

Professional tools / Electric & pneumatic tools / High-voltage insulated tools / Explosion-proof safety tools / Electrical & power testing instruments / Environmental testing equipment / Industrial maintenance hardware / Engineering & utility project supplies.

Ability to communicate professionally with contractors, distributors, industrial end-users, power entities, maintenance teams, engineering firms and procurement departments.

Basic knowledge of professional tools, testing instruments, industrial application scenarios, safety regulations and standard procurement workflows.

Strong communication, networking and opportunity follow-up skills.

Willing to work under a remote, flexible part-time cooperation model.

Good working proficiency in professional English.

Preferred

Established existing networks in the UAE with power utilities, electrical contractors, industrial groups, oil & gas companies, construction contractors, engineering firms, tool distributors, dealers and testing service providers.

Previous experience promoting or selling industrial tools, safety tools, electrical testing instruments and environmental testing equipment.

Familiar with industrial safety standards, technical documentation, certification requirements, tender procedures and corporate procurement processes.

Capable of identifying genuine project demand and coordinating communication between clients and suppliers.

Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage.

Remuneration is performance-based , linked to actual business contribution including opportunity development, client acquisition, channel layout, project advancement and successful order conversion.
