Duties and responsibilities
- Be responsible for the safety of all company personnel deployed on projects.
- Understand country and project safety regulations and communicate project-specific procedures to site personnel.
- Coordinate between site personnel and office management to ensure safety requirements are met.
- Guide the workforce on safety standards and ensure personnel have personal protective equipment.
- Attend contractor-directed safety meetings and conduct regular toolbox talks with chargehands, foremen, and supervisors.
- Submit periodic safety reports to management, identifying shortages and recommending improvements.
Requirements
- Have 2–5 years of UAE contracting-field experience.
- Hold NEBOSH and IOSH certificates.
- The posting separately lists 2 years of Safety Supervisor/Safety Officer experience and 2 years of construction-company experience as required.
- UAE experience is marked preferred in a separate experience entry.
Employment and compensation
- Full-time position.
- Pay is up to AED 5,000 per month.
