Duties and responsibilities
- Oversee the safety of company personnel and understand applicable country and project safety regulations.
- Coordinate between site personnel and office management; guide workers in maintaining safety standards.
- Determine project-specific procedures and communicate safety requirements to site personnel.
- Attend contractor-directed safety meetings and submit periodic reports with shortages and recommendations.
- Ensure personnel have PPE and conduct regular toolbox talks with chargehands, foremen, and supervisors.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of UAE contracting-field experience; the posting also lists 3 years as a Safety Officer, 3 years with a construction company, and 2 years in the UAE.
- NEBOSH and IOSH certificates are required.
Compensation
- Pay is up to AED 5,000 per month, all inclusive.
