Overview
- Develop and implement project-specific HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) plans
- Conduct risk assessments for MEP activities
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
- Perform daily site inspections to identify hazards
- Review and issue permits
- Ensure all required precautions are in place before work starts
- Conduct daily/weekly toolbox talks
- Train workers on PPE usage, electrical safety, fire prevention and emergency procedures. Induct new workers on site safety rules
- Report accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions. Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis. Recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain PPE records and inspections
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers & subcontractors
- Conduct fire drills and evacuation drills
- Maintain records of safety inspections, training session
- Prepare reports for audits and client review
