We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer to ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations at our construction site.
The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, and promoting a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site safety inspections.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and company policies.
- Monitor work activities and identify potential hazards.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers.
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors on safety matters.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of construction site safety experience in the UAE.
- NEBOSH IGC certification preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
