Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the company’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments on-site and in the workplace.
- Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and suggest preventive measures.
- Conduct safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation accurately.
- Promote a safety-conscious culture across all departments and teams.
- Coordinate with management for emergency preparedness, drills, and first-aid arrangements.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper safety practices are followed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in [construction, manufacturing, or marble/interior works].
- Knowledge of local labor laws, OSHA, and other relevant safety regulations.
- Certified safety professional or relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
- Strong communication, reporting, and analytical skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
